My favorite banh mi joint. They now accept credit card w a small fee. Be sure to go early if you want some for dinner as they close at 5:30 pm. Simple small diner.

Cheaper than Lee's. Fresher and more generous too with the ingredients. And the bread, it hits both aspects that make for good banh mi bread, a nice outer crunch, and soft insides. No complaints. The charbroiled pork (No. 4) is amazing. The No. 1 is really enjoyable as well. The jalapeños they use is also spicier than you would expect (which I loved).

This tiny Vietnamese restaurant at the center of OKC Asian District has always been my family's favorite, especially my brother's. When he's in town, he would always want to go here for the "cháo lòng." Cháo lòng is Vietnam's bold and hearty pork offal congee. Containing pork bone broth, rice, and various pork offal (liver, kidney, spleen, intestines, hearts, and optional congealed blood cubes), the ingredients are simmered until tender. The dish is served warm with deep fried dough called "quây." I am not a huge fan of the dish, so I would often get wonton soup or something else at Lang's. My brother would also get Vietnamese baguettes to bring back to KS as well which are alright. It's really a place where you come in for something specific like a birthday cake or certain dish. May not be a good place for general dining.

One of the best Bahn mi sandwiches I ever had. Very delicious, and certainly homemade and created with care. They also offer a variety of different Bahn mi styles and it is also the primary thing on their menu, so you know it is their specialty. You can also purchase various baked goods, Vietnamese sweets, pastries and cakes (also likely you can get custom birthday cakes made to order here), as well as numerous Asian beverages like grass jelly drinks, canned coffee and the sort - but again, their real strength are their Bahn mis. Another one of those must-experience places in the Asian District!

One of the few places you can get traditional Vietnamese food. My family has been coming here since I was very young. I love the vermicelli and banh hoi bowls. Other items that my family gets are the banh beo, banh mi, banh canh, and bo kho. They also do traditional Vietnamese cakes for special occasions.

I just started to discover this little gem due to Covid and the group I am in. SUPPORT OKC FOODIES. Omg. Lang's is a hidden gem! I love that they have baked goods, and homemade foods. It reminds me of eating in Vietnam. We go here twice a week to get our fix. I usually get the Banh canh gio heo and Tom, hubby gets the Hu tieu bo Kho, and my kids Get the rice plates. I've also tried the banh cuon and banh mi and they are all delish.
